What is the atmosphere like at the University of South Florida?

USF has a large Undergraduate population, the majority of which are full-time students. In previous years, the property was considered more of a "commuter college" – where more students lived off site than on campus. However, with the first dorm built in 2009, the University has changed its image and now requires first-year freshman to live in the on-site dormitories. This led to intense school pride, and created a strong community environment for the undergraduate and graduate students alike.
