Your Furnished Apartment Shopping List

Furnished apartments are an incredible amenity for time and cash pressed students. Off-campus living near USF can seem attractive until you realize you may be on the hook for outfitting an entire apartment home with not only decor and other necessities to make it function and feel like home, but actual FURNITURE so you have a place to sit and sleep! You're in luck. Many apartments near USF offer furniture packages to make your transition easier and more cost-effective.

While apartment furniture packages won't provide every last necessity you may require, you can rest assured that nearly all will include major basics. Use this list to help you understand what might be included, but always be sure to check with a leasing agent to confirm which pieces of furniture will be in the apartment on move-in day.

Bedroom Furniture:

These items will be personal to you and your own bedroom that you've leased. You will be solely responsible for the condition of these items upon move out.

  • Bedframe with mattress
  • Nightstand
  • Desk
  • Chair
  • Chest of drawers, commonly made of 2 pieces that fit under the bed
